Lake Forest Subdivision is a deed restricted community with recreational and/or full time homes located minutes from Lake Somerville. The maintenance fee includes private water and maintenance for the private road. Lake Somerville was built in 1968 by the Corp of Engineers and has become a significant recreational area in south central Texas renown for it's quality bass fishing and boating. Lake Forest Subdivision has quick access to several marinas owned and operated by the Corps of Engineers with boat launch, campgrounds, picnic areas and are open year round.
